David's busy with his homework when he heard the doors knocking. "Son..!! Your mom calls you for dinner." his dad calling from the back door. "Yeeaahh dad, wait a moment. I'm still doing my homework." the door's opened and his dad once again tell him to go downstairs because his mom waiting for him to eat together. "Why mom and dad didn't eat without me ?" little anger, david's put his pen and his book down and go to downstairs with his dad.
David and his families are not a rich family. His dad is a wounded veteran from vietnam and can't working like other peoples normal. And his mom just helping his dad working in their corn field. "Mom, I'm still finishing my homework. Why you always calling me to dinner together everynight.", "hey David..!!! Shut up your mouth and let's eat together. It's your mom. So show her some respect". His father getting mad because what david said to his mom. "It's okay George, he just want to focus with his homework.", "mom's right dad.. I just want to finish my homework.", "it's enough..!! Can't we just let eat together now ?" his dad try to stop their conversations and start dinning together. Night passing so fast in the stormy rage when david's go to his bed and sleep. "Honey.. You're too hard with david, can't you just be more gentle with him ? His our son afterall. Don't push him to hard.", "Ann, I don't want to be like that.. But, you must be known that we spend everything for his college's fee. We spend everything Ann, everything.... How difficult is it just to eat together like a normal family ?", then George and Ann sleeping together at that night.
In the morning, david goes to college with his old bike like ussual. He just passing his parent that working at their cornfield without say anything. His mom just told him to be carefull. "Same's like everyday huh ?", "george.. His our son. One day he will understand.", "I hope Ann.. I hope.." they were working together, harvesting the corps and cleaning the fields. At the college, david meet with his childhood mike. They were like a brother because they were friendship since they were 6 years old. Mike was majoring botanical when david's took electronical. "So how's your homework buddy ?", "I didn't finish it yet bro.", "how about your parents ?", "just like usually bro, they are harvesting our corn this morning.", "it's sounds good david, can I come to your home after school ? I miss your mom's baked corn.", "sure bro, but for now.." david dont continue his word and suddenly throwing a basket ball to mike. They both two always playing basket ball at the college every morning. After finished playing basket, they go to their locker to changes clothes and then separated to their own class each other.
David going into his class when proffesor James explaining about lighting electricity. Every student in the class just laughing to david because he is almost always late every morning.
Prof. James ask David to meet him after class. When the other student already gone, prof. James ask to david why he always late ? "Sir... I think you'd already know that actually I didn't interesting to join this class at all ?", "ofcourse David.. Ofcourse. I'd already know about it. Can you just following the class like the other David ? I know whose your dad, he is my friend. I know he had a bad temper. But actually your dad is a good man David.", "I didn't even know who he is for sure sir." David finishing their conversation and just get out from the classroom. Infront of the gate school, mike and david walking back home together.
Their both walking together and didn't notice a truck trailler uncontrolled moving fast from the right and hit them two. David tried to jump but it's all too late, he got hitted and fly away to the river and drown to the bottom of the river and slowly lossing his consciousness.
Slowly, David got awakenned. His head bleeding and his arms badly injured. He take a look around and there's no one there. The cities seeing like a normal, but there's nobody there.
He calling for help loudly but no one shown up. He feel something strange.............

Something doesn’t
feels right. David go to the city to find help, but still there’s nobody there.
His mind quickly going crazy. What’s happening ? where’s everyone ? the cities
same like before, but there’s no one here. His injury too badly and make him
can’t walk away and just sitting in the corner of the street till he lost his
own consciousness again. The mosquitos flying around at his ears when he wake
up in the evening, his bleeding already stoped and his head doesn’t feel pain
anylonger, Looks like his head not get any internal injury. David’s try to get
home but still his parents not there. It’s like a nightmare, he’s going
everywhere to find them but still he just find he was alone. After tiring for
searching, David calming his mind and try to thinking about what’s happening. He
took the first aid kid in the kitchen bandage his hand. He still thinking
something doesn’t feels right. Just for now, he going upstairs to his room and
try to sleep like nothing happen and hope when he wake up everythings will be
back to normal.
Night feel more
longer than usuall, winds blowing and ringing the bells in the window, the corps dancing in
the night wind blowing until the sun rising from the horizon. “David..!! wake
up buddy..!! wake up..!!” david slowly opening his eyes and find that was mike
whose wake him up. “Mike… it’s you, it is really you mike ?”, “yeah, it’s me..
do you find anyone David ?” , “nope, I’m searching peoples in the city last
noon but I can’t find’em.” , “what’s happening man ? I just remember, yesterday
we got hit by a truck and now I can’t find anyone too.. but Thanks to the God I
can find you here.” , “I have no idea mike.”. they both two know something
doesn’t feeels right, so they goes to the city again and searching everywhere
to find the peoples. They go to the police station, but still there’s no one
there. Mike try the radio in the police cars but still nothing happen. They steal
the police cars and driving around to the city. But afterall, there still no
one there. Then mike stop infront of the cities hall, they both thinking to
find the answer when the radio ringing. “hello… hello, is there anyone can hear
me ?” someone speaking in the radio. David and mike just looking each other and
then after few second David took the radio. “whose there ?” , “hello… can you
hear me ? ooh thanks God, hello.. who is this ?” , “this is David, who are you
?”, “this is Jack, Jack Stuart.” , “ Jack..!! is it you Jack Stuart ? it’s me
David and Mike with me.” ,”is it you David ? David the corn’s kid ?” Mike just
laughing and for the first time David didn’t get mad getting bullied by Jack.
David’s got a nickname by his friend as a corn’s kid because his family is a
farmer. “yeah.. it’s me, where are you Jack ?” , “I’m in the hospital, where
are you david ?”,”city hall. Do you find anybody Jack ?”,”no, I can’t find
anyone. Do you ?”,”me too.. I can’t find anyone too. Wait for us Jack, we’re
heading now.”, ”okay….”. David
just laughing when mike start driving the police car go to the hospital he was so happy to find out there still more peoples.
Arriving
at the hospital, David and Mike find the whereabouts of Jack. Jack fell asleep
on a bench in the hospital waiting room, He was alone. "Jack .. wake up
... !! Hey jack .. wake up ", Mike tried to wake jack. "Aah, finally you guys here."Then the three of them
walked into the hospital grounds. "Jack, did you find anyone?", "No .. no one was all over town. do you find them?
"" I do not. Mike who found me my home. ". Mike and Jack
laughed, they were happy to meet each other. But they are still questioning
where everyone gone. "How about you Jack ? I mean, what do you
remember? "David asked Jack," I remember just yesterday I partied
liquor with my friends. My head feels like want to exploding when drank the last bottle
and my mouth felt like burning. ". David and Mike just laugh while looking each other. Jack began to upset immediately and threw a water bottle at David
and Mike, but they both still laughing. "What I remember just yesterday I
and mike got hit a truck and I plunged into the river." Replied David.
"Well ... I was also hit by the same truck, but I was not thrown into the
river like David." Connect Mike. The three of them just stood there amidst
the garden and standing triangle and looking each other. "It looks like the
three of us already dead." David made Mike and Jack shocked like getting thunderstruck, "don't be kidding me David.." Jack began to fear, his face changed like a person who
loses his mind and mike petrified like a statue.
"David probably right jack. Then again, how could we still be alive after
being hit by a truck trailler? I remember how I was thrown so far from the road
before passing out." Mike adds more tension between them.

After trying to accept the fact that may be true, they finally went back into the hospital and treat wounds David and Mike, they slept together in the hospital's waiting room that night. The sun had not yet risen when a sound of barrage gunfire woke them. Jack straight up and hiding under the under the bed while David and Mike just looked down searching for the origin of the sound position, "what happening? whose fire ? from where the gunshots? "Jack was so scared hiding. "Of the hall .. !!" mike creeping on the floor near the door next to the guardroom. "It seems there are others besides us, but what is happening? whose shot gun firing? "David approached the door to look at the situation. Suddenly, the door smashed from the outside. Mike and David was thrown backward. A man dressed like a bank security guard came in, "hey .. who are you? why are you here? "he asked. "My name is Jack, and that's David and Mike." Jack introduce but still scared trying to talk to the man while still hiding under the bed. "I'm Michaell, why are you hiding here? it's fine, I'm just killed three of them in the hallway. "Michaell lowering the gun so as not to scare the three them. He help David and Mike stood up and told Jack no to scare to him. "who do you mean them ?" David asking Michaell while he try to get up. "don't you know it ? it it everywhere.", "who ?" Mike asking, "The Demon.... El Daiblo.. Satan.." Michaell told them like he can't believe the three of them didn't know about it. "what you said ? Demon ? don't be kidding me sir, there is no demon." David still not believing what he heard. so michaell took them to the hallway to see that. A creature that they never seen before, but had a red eyes, black skins, wings like a bat, horns, and hands like snake on the left and sickle on the other side. their blood were black like ink and thier face look's creepy. "do you still not believe me ?" michaell tell the truth, they can't believe it that Demon really exist in this world. "hey... don't just watching and follow me. I'll bring the three of you to Jason." michaell start walking left the three of them. David and his friends following Michaell to a supermarket. Michaell suddenly stopped infront of the doors and shouting some tune, the door opened and peoples armed with guns pouring out around them. "password..." one of them speaking, "Life free." Michaell answered, then they lowering their guns and let the four of them come in into the building. Michaell goes first while David and his friends come in too. the doors quickly closing and the peoples put iron pipes to lock it. "keep calm David, we're good man. we make this building because there's much supplies here." Michaell try to make them calm down when someone dressed like a millitan come to them."Michaell, do you bring it ?" that man ask to Michaell then Michaell take a pocket of drugs from his bag and give it to that man. "Jason.. this is David, Mike, and Jack. I found them hiding in the hospital after killing three of that thing you know. and guys, this is Jason, he's the one incharge here.. for now." Michaell introducing them to Jason. while Jason just smiling to them,"hello... I'm Jason. let's take a rest, you look mess David.", "thanks Sir.. I got hit by a truck, so.. yeah.... I'm mess." David expalining his wound and the peoples just laughing on him. David and his friends shocked that they found there much peoples gathered here when they can't find anyone in across the city.
"So how about you guys ? how could you stay in the hospital while that things always going around the city to find us Human ?" Jason asking them while he still cleaning his gun. "I didn't even know Demon really exist, I'd driving around the city with Mike yesterday to find anyone but somehow while we're start give up, the radio's calling and that's how we meet with Jack.", David answering. "so, you guys are friends ?", "yeah.. we're friends except Jack." Mike start laughing when David explaining. "hey..hey... we're friends afterall buddies." connect Jack. "then how about you sir ? I mean.. how can you gathering peoples here ?" David asking Jason. "nope.. it's not me, it's George whose gathered peoples here. but He just past away four days ago by the Demon. He's a goodman, we try to fight back the Demon and we kill them all this time. but somehow, they just keep coming like never end. we'd already search their nest, but we can't find it." everybodies around them suddenly quite for a moment when they hear that, Jason's know what they thinking. so he standing up and take his glass,"for George.... the one who teach us how to fight, and the one who sacrifice his self to protect us." then the peoples yelling together. "For George..!!", David didn't know which George they mean. is it George his father or other George ? and he didn't ask which George they mean because the peoples look like they respect that guy that much. after that, they all go to the ballroom. in the ballrooms, Jason introducing David, Mike, and Jack to the peoples. and leading peoples to start pray together to the God for their sake. the day after, David and the other get order from Jason to join him searching another peoples in the city. so they can learn how to being safe outside. but David told to Jason that maybe they can find more gun in the police station he'd go last time with Mike so Jason choose to changes their mission.

Jason, and his two guys go to the police station with David and his friends. in the police station, they search for supplies and anything that maybe usefull for them. Jason and David find out the police guns storage is still locked and open it while the other watching outside if the demon coming. they found so much gun and took them all, but Jason told to David that he must left some guns and ammo if someone coming there to find guns too. after collecting all they can, they went go back to their base the supermarket. in the way back to the base, Jason stop their car in the corner of the city library. "hey, what's up sir ?" Mike asking Jason why he stop their car. "keep quite and get out of the car. I see the trap I've set yesteday were lost.", they all get out of the car and take covers behind the dump trash. Jason ordering his man to observe the area and try to find the track of the trap that he set before. "what's happening ?" Jack asking to make sure the situation "well, you guys already know the Demons are everywhere searching us. maybe they pass the trap that I set before, we need to kill them to make sure they didn't follow us back to the base.", everybodies quite and walk slowly observing the area. Jason's man Luke find the trap stuck in a motel's back door, Jason giving order to them to search the Demon in that motel and kill'em. he gave David, Mike, and Jack a pistol for each other, then they go in to the motel and make two group. Luke's searching upstairs with Jack and Mike while Jason, David, and Bobby searching in the downfloor. they search slowly, even they feet almost not making any sounds. Luke goes alone to the right while Jack and Mike goes to the left. Jason search all the rooms, Bobby and David searching in the front office. suddenly, the they hear guns fire at the upstairs. Jason and the other quickly going upstair and calling Luke's group. "Here..!! over here..!!" David know that sounds that coming from the second room was Mike's sound, they going in to that room and find out Luke already dead in the floor with right hand missing and the window opened. David almost spit up and Jason told them to get out soon. the Demon were in the streets while they get out and still eating Luke's hand. they start shooting the Demon, that creature didn't even dodge it and try to fly away. but David shot the wings of that Demon and that creatures can't fly. so it comes to them while they still shooting that thing. "shoot his heart..!!" Jason giving order to them to shoot the heart to kill that thing. after shooting so much because they didn't know it hearts location, that Demon start falling to the ground and didn't move anylonger. David falls down to the street, shocking about what just happening before his eyes while the others keep watching the Demon and hope that creature didn't get up anymore.
